New forum policy - No more society wars and "he said, she said"

We actually thought we gave out a pretty good message. Obviously, some people are more receptive to this kind of message than others, and they choose to keep up their snidy comments.

Well, no hair off my back. The forum can do without Storm. Anyone else want to test my patience?


Off-topic: I actually have to admit I am utterly disgusted with the behaviour of a part of this community. Shame, really. AW had potential if the devs were willing to show they morally and technically are better equipped to run an RCE than MindArk is. Too bad a part of the community will never even let them get that far.

if ppl wont let others play and keep threating and driving players out AFTERWORLD will never get off the ground with the tiny player base it has

No, you did not misread anything. I've just been swamped with work for the last few days, and the result of that is that I did not manage to keep an eye on this place.

I want to once again make it known that it annoys the living crap out of me that apparently I cannot turn my back on this place for even a few days without someone trying to pull off something again.

So. Fifth has joined Storm, and has been permanently removed from this forum. I cleaned up the thread as well.

Improving the forum, one ban at a time... Shame it has to be like that, though. We have some neat stuff planned for this place. Oh well. Guess some people will just have to learn to live with the consequences of their own actions.

I would imagine no one likes to ban anyone tbh, however the admin here is very busy with RL and second forum for Entropia as well, so it makes it difficult to be here every day to baby sit people.

Our community in AW is very small and is a lot more challenging at times than other games communities with a much larger forum membership base.
