We really need something like this for Afterworld:

    http://www.grandexchangecentral.com/

This is for the game Runescape. The game allows websites such as this one to pull the prices directly from their server on a daily basis. It keeps records of every item in the game, some crazy good graphs showing the item's trend over the past day, week, month, quarter, etc. It's set up just like a stock market prospectus.

I know it wouldn't be this sophisticated, but it would be cool if someone set up a site where players could input current selling values and it keeps track over time. I'm sure people would be willing to contribute, especially for those common items that fluctuate a lot like SNIs. The site should just have a login, so that it's obvious if any one person is trying to manipulate something deceitfully.

Unfortunately, it is is simply too hard to manually keep track of the items a player has sold.
The messages do get placed into the global logs ... however, it is a chore getting these details out of it (player inertia rules!)

You'll need to wait until the developers either add this functionality to their own site or implement something like an API to access these details.

There once already was this feature - the real-time access to the market records directly in the AW database.
This experiment took place in ancient times, sometimes in early mesoliticum... :) If i remember it right Equilibrium Keepers made the website, i've lost the link. It wasn't working any more anyways, the access is closed now and the experiment has ended. I have no idea what was the reason why it died out.
